I'll be straight with you. I'm a pensioner. I built this store on a state pension, learning as I went, making mistakes, starting over, and keeping going. Not many people my age back themselves to take on something like this. The technology alone is enough to make your head spin. But I figured — if not now, when? And if I can do it, so can you.
Humble Equations isn't backed by investors or a marketing team. It's just me, a laptop, and an unshakeable belief that the world needs more peace in it. Not just as a word on a wall — but as a way of living. A commitment to peace, compassion, communication, and humility in everything we do and everything we create.
Every product I make carries that message. The designs, the words, the ideas — they're all original. Imperfect. Honest. And every one of them is an attempt to put something good out into the world.
There's a poem on one of my tees called IT. It's about whatever it is you're facing right now. Your 'IT' might be different from mine — but we all have one. Mine was this. Building something from nothing, at an age when most people are winding down, on a budget that doesn't leave much room for error.
But here's what I've discovered. Staying curious keeps you alive. Creating keeps you sharp. And when you reach out to people — even strangers — with peace and compassion, something remarkable happens. They reach back.
